What if my swimming lessons fall on rainy day?
Please attend all swimming classes regardless of weather condition unless you have been informed of cancellation or postponement. Swimming lessons during thunderstorm and lightning will be postponed until safe weather conditions prevail.
Is your swimming instructor qualified?
All Swimming instructors teaching in all public swimming pool has to be qualified and certified by the Singapore Sports Council (SSC) before they are allowed to teach. They have Life Guard certifications as well. We take your swimming lessons seriously and guarantee students safety throughout the lesson.
How long will it take before I can swim?
Duration each individual takes varies. Factors like the child fears water or has any medical condition affect the learning pace of the child. However, it is always good to expose the child to the water environment earlier so that the child can build up his/her confidence at an early stage. A standard timeframe that we take is about 3-6 months to complete 3 strokes (Freestyle, Backstroke and Breaststroke) where they will continue to take survival courses approx 3 months for each medal.
Adults generally take a shorter time to learn, about 2-4 months to complete 2 strokes.
What is the maximum size of your group lesson?
It depends on which level you are referring to. For our group classes, each class will be less than 10 students.
What do I need to bring for my swimming lesson?
You need to have your own swim attire and goggles for the first lesson. Your swimming instructor may advise you to buy other equipment if needed.
Where do you normally conduct your swimming lesson?
We conduct private swimming lesson island-wide. For Condos and private apartments, you may need to seek their authorization before we can teach there.
